Depending on your interaction with us, we may process: identity and contact details (name, email, mobile number), location/province, vehicle preferences, quote request details, communication records, and technical information such as IP address, browser/device data, and usage events.
3. How We Collect Information
We collect personal information directly from you when you submit forms, request quotes, create an account, or contact us. We may also generate technical and analytics data automatically when you use our website.
4. Purpose of Processing and Lawful Grounds
We process personal information to provide quote-matching services, share relevant requests with participating dealerships, communicate with you, support and improve the platform, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal and regulatory obligations. Processing is based on your consent, performance of services requested by you, and our legitimate interests where permitted by POPIA.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We share personal information only where necessary with participating dealerships, service providers/operators acting on our instructions, and authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal information.
6. Cross-Border Transfers
Where data is processed or stored outside South Africa, we take reasonable steps to ensure an adequate level of protection and contractual safeguards consistent with POPIA section 72.
7. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the stated purposes, to comply with legal, tax, audit, and dispute-resolution requirements, and then delete, de-identify, or securely archive it.
8. Security Safeguards
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Access to information is limited to authorised personnel and approved operators who require it for legitimate business purposes.
9. Children
Our services are intended for persons aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly process personal information of children unless permitted by law and with appropriate consent where required.
10. Direct Marketing and Consent
Where required by POPIA, we obtain consent for electronic direct marketing and provide you with the ability to opt out at any time. You may also withdraw consent for other consent-based processing, subject to legal or contractual limitations.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction or deletion, object to processing, restrict certain processing, and lodge complaints about unlawful processing.
